B2B Software Review Sites: Where to List, in What Order (2026)

Which B2B software review sites to list on first: the big ones by traffic, 31 review sites from our catalog, the order to do them in, what each links to (free profiles get no followed links), and why reviews decide everything.

Guide cover: B2B software review sites, ranked by real traffic, with a chart card titled "Review sites by monthly visits"
By Pruthvi RajOctober 4, 2026Updated November 2, 2026

The B2B software review sites that matter for most vendors are G2, Capterra (with GetApp and Software Advice), TrustRadius, SourceForge, SoftwareSuggest, SaaSworthy, and the alternatives sites AlternativeTo and SaaSHub. All of them offer a free listing. They differ in audience size, buyer type and how much reviews matter. Since G2's deal for Capterra, GetApp and Software Advice (announced January 2026), the four biggest names are under one owner.

Below: traffic and authority numbers from our own catalog, which site to do first, and what each listing requires.

The sites, by monthly visits

Bar chart of software review and listing sites by monthly visits, from SourceForge at 22.5M to SaaS Browser at 13K
Monthly visits (3-month SimilarWeb average) and Domain Rating from our catalog, October 2026.
Site Free listing DR Visits/month Link
G2 Yes (B2B only, no beta) 91 2.25M Nofollow
Capterra / GetApp / Software Advice Yes (Basic Listing) n/a n/a Paid click-outs
TrustRadius Yes (claim profile) 85 290K Mixed
SourceForge Yes (business listing) 93 22.5M Mixed
SoftwareSuggest Yes 77 358K Nofollow
SaaSworthy Yes (SaaS only) 75 220K Dofollow (our check)
AlternativeTo Yes 80 2.15M Mixed
SaaSHub Yes (approval queue) 81 407K Dofollow (organic)

Audiences differ: G2 and TrustRadius lean mid-market and enterprise, Capterra and its sister sites lean SMB, SoftwareSuggest is strongest in India and APAC, and AlternativeTo and SaaSHub catch people replacing a known tool.

DR is Ahrefs Domain Rating from our checks. "Mixed" means we saw both followed and nofollow links. None of these are mainly backlink plays. Their value is buyer discovery and social proof.

The wider list, from our catalog

Beyond the big names, there are 31 software review and B2B marketplace sites in AgentLaunch's catalog. The 15 with the most traffic:

Site DR Visits/month Free listing?
SourceForge 93 ~22.5M Yes
G2 91 ~2.25M Yes
AlternativeTo 80 ~2.1M Yes
Alternative.me 75 ~713K Yes
SaaSHub 81 ~407K Yes
SoftwareSuggest 77 ~358K Yes (premium extra)
TrustRadius 85 ~290K Yes
Crozdesk 74 ~255K Yes
SaaSworthy 75 ~220K Yes (paid placements)
PeerSpot 74 ~186K Yes

SpotSaaS 66 ~134K Yes
SelectHub 74 ~122K Yes
Appvizer 52 ~119K Yes
FeaturedCustomers 72 ~84K Yes

Almost all have a free listing. The difference between them is the audience (SMB vs enterprise, region) and how they make money (PPC, leads, placements).

We checked live profiles on the main review sites in October 2026. None of them gives a free profile a followed link to your site:

Site DR Visits/month Free profile Link to your site (our check, 5 Oct 2026) Paid options
G2 91 ~2.25M Yes No clickable link on the profile we checked Profile upgrades, buyer intent
TrustRadius 85 ~290K Yes CTA buttons only on paid profiles (followed on the ones we saw) Premium profile

SaaSworthy 75 ~220K Yes No link on the pages we could check Placements, lead targeting
SaaS Browser 74 ~13K Claim "Visit" goes through a nofollow redirect Data plans
SourceForge 93 ~22.5M Yes No direct link on the business listing we checked Promotion
Crunchbase 91 ~3.2M Yes nofollow Pro data subscription

Treat review sites as the place buyers verify you, not as SEO. The value is reviews, category rankings and comparison pages that rank for your competitors' names.

Which order to do them in

A five-step order for listing on software review sites
The order we'd use for a B2B SaaS with fewer than 20 reviews.
  1. G2. Free listing, then claim. Where most B2B shortlists start.
  2. Capterra (which also feeds GetApp and Software Advice). Free Basic Listing. Same owner as G2 now, so one my.G2 login covers both.
  3. TrustRadius. Claim the free profile. Its long reviews carry weight with enterprise buyers.
  4. SaaSworthy, SoftwareSuggest, SourceForge. Quick free listings with real traffic.
  5. AlternativeTo and SaaSHub. Get onto the "alternatives to [incumbent]" pages your buyers search.

You can create all of these in a day. The real work is reviews.

Reviews decide everything

On every review site, ranking within a category depends on review volume, recency and rating. A listing with no reviews is effectively invisible. Two rules:

  • Concentrate early reviews. 10 reviews on one site beats 2 on each of five.
  • Follow each site's rules. No paying for reviews yourself, and no gating (asking only happy customers). The sites run their own verified review campaigns, which you're allowed to use.

Our first-reviews plan lays out a 3-week sequence.

Free vs paid across the board

Site Paid model
G2 Profile and buyer-intent subscriptions
Capterra / GetApp / Software Advice Pay-per-click Sponsored Profiles
TrustRadius Premium profile (CTAs, lead forms, review campaigns)
SoftwareSuggest Gold and Platinum listings (6 or 12 months), pay-per-lead
SaaSworthy Homepage, category, alternatives and comparison placements

Wait for reviews before paying. Then test one paid channel at a time, with UTM-tagged links, and keep the ones that produce signups.

How much time each takes

Site Listing time Review effort Notes
G2 20–30 min + claim (1–3 business days) Medium B2B only; validation via my.G2
Capterra (+ GetApp, Software Advice) 20–30 min Medium Free Basic Listing; PPC optional
TrustRadius 20–30 min High (long reviews) Claim free profile
SourceForge 15 min Low Long vendor form, 1,000-char description
SoftwareSuggest 15–20 min + call Medium Phone and HQ required
SaaSworthy 5 min form + profile Low SaaS only
AlternativeTo, SaaSHub 10 min each Low Name the incumbents you replace

All of them in one day is realistic, but reviews take weeks. Start the review push on one platform the same week you list.

How review sites rank you

Across the major sites, category placement is driven mainly by review volume, recency and satisfaction, then profile completeness. A practical consequence: a newer product with 15 recent, detailed reviews in a niche category can outrank a bigger competitor whose last review is a year old.
