Guide cover: How to launch on PeerPush: free vs $39, $89 and $229, with a key numbers card titled "PeerPush at a glance"
By Pruthvi RajOctober 5, 2026Updated November 2, 2026

PeerPush has a free option, but free products "wait in line behind paid users". The $39 Standard Launch puts your product live within about 60 seconds, with a permanent dofollow link to your site. The two promotion bundles ($89 for 7 days featured, $229 for 30 days) add placement in the feeds, not a better link.

If the backlink is the goal, $39 buys the same link as the $229 bundle. Here's the full flow, what each plan adds, and one number on PeerPush's pricing page you shouldn't take at face value. All checked in October 2026.

What PeerPush is

PeerPush is a product discovery board with a daily leaderboard, a "Race" view and a strong pitch to AI search. Besides the website, it exposes its catalog through a public API and an MCP server, so AI agents and developer tools can query it directly. Its pricing page leads with "30.7M AI assistant reads in the last 30 days" rather than human visitors.

The listings are a broad mix: SaaS, AI tools, mobile apps, file converters and hobby projects. It's one of the few launch boards that treats free and paid listings the same once they're live. The difference is when you go live and how prominently you're shown.

How PeerPush works

The queue

Paid launches publish in about 60 seconds. Free launches wait "in line behind paid users", so the wait depends on how many paid launches come in. PeerPush doesn't publish an expected free wait.

Votes, points and the views

The homepage has Top, Recent, Race and Updated views. "Today Top 4" is the daily leaderboard, and the top products get Product of the Day badges. Paid plans add PeerPush points (+10, +20 or +40), which work like a head start in the rankings. Vote counts are low, single and double digits on most days, so points make a real difference to where you land.

The 7-day and 30-day bundles put your product in highlighted feed slots, labelled "Promoted". Promoted cards also show up in the sidebar of other product pages, marked as sponsored links.

The plans

PeerPush pricing: Standard Launch $39, Launch + 30d Promotion $229, Launch + 7d Promotion $89
PeerPush's paid launch plans in October 2026. All three include the same permanent link.
Plan Price Goes live Featured placement PeerPush points
Free $0 After paid launches in the queue None –
Standard Launch $39 About 60 seconds None +10
Launch + 7d Promotion $89 (was $129) About 60 seconds 7 days, ~20,000 est. impressions +20
Launch + 30d Promotion $229 (was $499) About 60 seconds 30 days, ~100,000 est. impressions +40

Every paid plan includes the permanent link, indexing, auto-generated product videos and PeerPush's visibility analytics. Points act like a vote boost in PeerPush's rankings, so the bundles also help you climb the daily list.

The free option sits at the very bottom of the pricing page, below the paid plans:

PeerPush's free option: Wait in line behind paid users, $0, Submit for Free
The free option is real, but paid launches always go ahead of you.

PeerPush also sells a directory submission service (30, 60 or 100 directories, from $169) and an "Outrank" bidding board from $5. Both are separate from the launch.

Step 1: sign in

PeerPush has no passwords. Enter your email and it sends a 6-digit code, or use Continue with Google. A Cloudflare browser check runs first. If it sits on "Verifying…", disable aggressive privacy extensions and reload.

PeerPush's sign-in screen with email (6-digit code) and Google options
Sign-in uses a 6-digit email code or Google. (Email blurred.)

Step 2: choose the launch type and autofill

Once you're signed in, the submit page asks you to choose Standard Launch (free or paid) or Sponsored / Advertised (paid only). For a normal launch, pick Standard.

PeerPush's Choose Your Launch Type screen with the URL autofill box
Choose Standard Launch, then paste your URL into Autofill. You can edit everything it fills in. (Account name blurred.)

Then paste your product URL into Autofill. PeerPush reads your site and fills the Basic Info section ("tell people what your product is and make a great first impression"). The icons in the corner show the product types it accepts: web, iOS, Android, API, browser extension, CLI and desktop.

Autofill copies whatever your page metadata says, so rewrite the result before saving:

  • Tagline: one specific line about the job your product does. On the day we captured, the products in PeerPush's top 4 included "Agentic automation platform for enterprises" and "Music practice tools, games, stats and social sharing". The second one tells you exactly what you get.
  • Description: who it's for, what changes for them, then two or three proof points. Our directory description guide has a template.
  • Categories: PeerPush shows categories as tags under each product ("Customer Support", "AI Automation"). Choose the narrowest ones that fit.

Step 3: pick free or paid, and launch

At the end of the form you choose free or a paid plan. Paid launches go live within a minute. Free ones wait for a slot.

PeerPush's homepage showing Today's Top 4 products with upvotes and ratings
The homepage ranks the day's products by votes. Promoted products are labelled as such.

The homepage has Top, Recent, Race and Updated views. "Today Top 4" is the daily leaderboard, and a #3 Product of the Day badge appears on the card. Vote counts are low (single and double digits on the day we looked), so a handful of real users voting and commenting can put you in the top 4.

What we found on 40 live listings

We opened 40 PeerPush product pages on 5 October 2026: 15 from the homepage, most of them promoted, and 25 from the Recent view, which included hobby projects like a Pokémon picker that almost certainly launched free. On each we inspected the main Visit site button.

Sample Listings Main link followed Notes
Homepage (mostly promoted) 15 15 rel="noopener" only
Recent launches (mixed) 25 24 One page had no visit button

As far as we can tell, free and paid listings get the same followed link. The links that are nofollow on PeerPush are the sponsored cards in the sidebar (rel="sponsored nofollow noopener"), which point to advertisers, not to you.

That makes the free route better value than PeerPush's pricing page suggests. If you can wait in the queue, the link is the same.

About PeerPush's traffic numbers

PeerPush's pricing page says "1,152,282 mo. visits" and "30.7M AI assistant reads in the last 30 days". Third-party data shows a different picture. Over the last three months, SimilarWeb averaged about 55,000 visits a month. The "AI reads" figure counts crawler and assistant requests, not people.

That doesn't make PeerPush a bad listing. A permanent dofollow link from a 75-DR site for $39 is fair value. Just don't buy the $229 bundle expecting a million-visitor audience. Estimate your return from the link and a modest referral stream.

Our recommendation

  • $39 Standard Launch if you want the backlink now. It's the same permanent link the bigger bundles include.
  • Free if you're patient. In our check, free listings carried the same followed link as paid ones once they were live.
  • Skip the promotion bundles unless you have a specific campaign to point them at. Estimated impressions aren't visits, and paid placement on a 55K-visit site is a small audience.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • As far as we can tell, free and paid listings get the same followed link.
  • Paid launches go live in about a minute.
  • One-time prices, from $39.
  • Catalog exposed to AI agents through an API and MCP server.
  • Autofill from your URL makes the form quick.

Cons

  • Free launches wait behind every paid one, with no stated wait time.
  • The pricing page's traffic figure (1.15M) is about 20 times the independent estimate (~55K).
  • Points from paid plans tilt the daily ranking.
  • Sign-in sits behind a Cloudflare check that privacy extensions can block.

Common mistakes on PeerPush

  • Keeping the autofilled text. It's your homepage meta description. Rewrite it for people browsing a launch list.
  • Buying a bundle for the link. The $39 plan, or free, gets the same link.
  • Picking broad categories. "AI" and "Productivity" are crowded. Narrow tags put you in smaller lists.
  • Expecting the AI-reads number to mean visitors. It counts machine requests.

Where PeerPush fits

PeerPush is one of the easiest followed links to get from a 75 DR domain, free or $39. Put it in the same launch fortnight as two or three other boards. More in sites like Product Hunt and dofollow directories for startups. AgentLaunch's catalog lists the free and paid route for each, so you can plan the spend before you open any forms.
