How to Launch on Peerlist Launchpad: Verification, Monday Launches and the Top 3
Peerlist launches are free but need a verified profile and a 100% complete project. Launches open Mondays (UTC), voting runs all week, and the link is nofollow.

Launching on Peerlist is free, but there are two requirements most people discover too late: your Peerlist profile has to be verified, and the project you launch has to be 100% complete on your profile. Launches open every Monday from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM UTC, voting runs all week, and the top 3 projects get a badge and a newsletter feature. The link to your site is nofollow, so treat Peerlist as an audience channel, not a backlink.
Here's the full sequence (verify, complete the project, launch on Monday) and how to make the most of the week. Checked on Peerlist in October 2026.

What Peerlist is
Peerlist is a professional network for people who build things: developers, designers, product people and founders. Think of it as a LinkedIn alternative where your profile shows your work (projects, GitHub, Dribbble, articles) rather than a CV. Launchpad is its weekly product launch board, built on top of those profiles.
That's why the rules look different from other launch boards. Launches come from people, not anonymous product accounts: you need a verified profile, the project lives on your profile, and votes come mostly from the people who follow you. Peerlist, Inc. also runs a jobs board, a social feed called Scroll and a blog.
How Launchpad works
Weekly rounds
Each week is its own Launchpad page (Week 41, Week 42 and so on). Launches open on Monday, 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM UTC, and the week's leaderboard stays open for voting until it ends. Older weeks stay browsable, so your launch keeps a permanent place in its week.
Weighted votes
Votes from members with long activity streaks count more: 2× at a 14-day streak and 3× at 100 days. A launch backed by active Peerlist users climbs faster than one backed by people who signed up that morning.
Rewards
The top 3 each week get a badge on their profile and a feature in Peerlist's newsletter. There's no paid tier and no sponsored slot inside the rankings.
Step 1: get your profile verified
If you click Launch without a verified profile, Peerlist stops you with "Get verified to Launch".

Verification is Peerlist's gate against spam launches. Do it a few days before launch week, not on Monday morning. Make sure your profile has a real photo, your current role and links to your work, because verification is easier for a profile that already looks complete.
Step 2: add the project and get it to 100%
Projects live on your profile under Work → New project. Only projects at 100% completion appear in the launch dropdown. Fill everything Peerlist asks for:
- Name and tagline. The Launchpad shows a short one-liner under each name, for example "Find useful apps and websites for your next project" or "Apply for government jobs in seconds". Plain and specific works best.
- Categories. Shown as tags (for example "Productivity, Marketing, SaaS"). Pick two or three you'd browse.
- Images or video, links, and description. Verified profiles can upload video, which is worth doing. A 20-second screen recording stands out in a list of logos.
- Collaborators. Add teammates so the project appears on their profiles too. Their followers see it.
Step 3: launch on Monday
On Monday (UTC), open the Launchpad, click Launch → in the header, select your project from the dropdown and confirm. If you can't make Monday, Peerlist lets you schedule the launch on another day.

The Launchpad is organised by week (Week 41 was 5–11 October 2026). Every launched project is listed, sorted by upvotes, and the leaderboard stays open until the week ends.
How to place in the top 3
Peerlist's audience is people with profiles: developers, designers and founders who follow each other. Votes come through your network more than from strangers.
- Use your own streak. Upvotes from users with long activity streaks count double (14 days) or triple (100 days). Being active on Peerlist for a couple of weeks before launching helps your own votes and your visibility.
- Post about the launch on Peerlist's Scroll feed on Monday. It's the platform's social feed, and launches shared there get seen by your followers.
- Ask collaborators and early users to upvote and comment. Early comments show up under the project and draw more attention.
- Mid-week, post a progress update. Week-long voting rewards projects that stay visible.
Does Peerlist give a backlink?
Not a followed one. On the project pages we opened, the link to the product's website carried rel="noreferrer nofollow ugc". That's Peerlist treating project links as user-generated content, the same way it treats links in posts.
Peerlist's DR is high (77) and it gets about 486,000 visits a month, so the value is in the audience and the profile page, which ranks for your name and project. It isn't in link equity.
Is Peerlist worth it?
Yes, as an audience channel. Peerlist has real traffic (roughly 486K visits a month) and a builder audience who try new tools. A top-3 finish puts you in the weekly newsletter, and the badge stays on your profile.
Don't count it as a backlink: the project link is nofollow ugc. For SEO, pair it with followed links from Uneed, TinyLaunch or DevHunt (for dev tools). Our list of dofollow directories has more.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Free, with no paid placement in the rankings.
- A builder audience with real profiles, so feedback comes from identifiable people.
- Your project stays on your profile, which helps when people look you up.
- Week-long voting gives you time to rally support.
Cons
- Verification and a 100%-complete project are required.
- The project link is
nofollow ugc. - Votes favour people who already have a following on Peerlist.
- Smaller launch audience than Product Hunt.
Common mistakes on Peerlist
- Leaving verification to launch day. It's the most common reason people can't launch.
- A half-finished project. Only 100%-complete projects appear in the launch dropdown.
- Launching from a brand-new, empty profile. Your profile is part of the pitch here.
- Asking only friends outside Peerlist. Votes from streak-holders count more, so engage with the community before launch week.
- Forgetting collaborators. Adding teammates puts the project on their profiles and in front of their followers.

| TinyLaunch | Free or $39 | Weekly | Top 3 or Premium | Indie products |
| DevHunt | Free or $19 | Weekly | Paid launches | Developer tools |
| Show HN | Free | Points-ranked | At ~20+ points | Technical products |
After launch
- Tag the project URL (
?utm_source=peerlist&utm_medium=launchpad) so you can see which signups came from it. See measuring directory referral traffic. - Keep the project updated on your profile. It stays visible long after launch week and shows up when people look at your work.
- Planning several launches? How to promote a micro SaaS covers sequencing, and AgentLaunch keeps each platform's requirements (like Peerlist's verification step) in one catalog so nothing surprises you on launch day.
