What makes a good SaaS directory

Good ones still publish new listings, have category pages that rank on Google, show a real product page rather than a stub, and link to you with a followed link. Bad ones load slowly, show ads between every listing, have no new products in months, or ask for payment for any listing at all. Check the newest listings on the site before you submit: if the latest one is half a year old, the directory has probably stopped.
