Glossary
What is a design showcase site?
A design showcase is a site that collects examples of well-designed websites, landing pages or app screens, such as Land-book, Lapa Ninja or SaaS Landing Page. Designers and founders browse them for inspiration. Getting featured brings designer attention and a link, mostly to sites with a distinctive design.
How they work
You submit your site's URL; the curators take screenshots and decide whether it's good enough to feature. Accepted sites appear in categories like SaaS, portfolio or e-commerce, often with the fonts and colours used. Many showcases are strict, accepting a small share of submissions.
What gets accepted
A clear visual identity, strong typography, good use of real product screenshots, and polish on mobile. Template sites with stock illustrations rarely make it. Landing pages with a distinctive structure or an unusual interaction stand out.
Is it worth it?
If your product serves designers or founders, yes: the audience is your market. For other products, it's mainly a relevant link and a bit of pride. We checked 2 design showcases; both are curated and slow to review.
Example
A design tool redesigns its landing page with real product animations and submits to three showcases. Two feature it. The showcases' visitors are designers, its exact audience, and the referral traffic converts better than any directory it tried.
FAQ
How long do design showcases take to review?
Often weeks; some never reply if a site isn't accepted.
Do design showcases give dofollow links?
Many do. Check each listing after it's live.
Can I submit a template-based site?
You can, but curated showcases rarely accept them.
